DUTIES:

• Participate in BI/DW business requirements and user stories review sessions
• Participate in BI/DW functional and technical design sessions
• Work with Business Analysts to create prototypes for BI solutions
• Create technical specifications in accordance with business requirements documentation
• Review technical specifications with remote Developers
• Coordinate the development tasks with In-house Developers
• Coordinate the testing tasks with In-house Quality Analysts and onsite Business Analysts
• Conduct quality reviews on offshore development deliverables
• Enforce BI/DW design and development standards
• Update BI/DW product documentation
• Provide hands-on technical expertise in ODI program changes, OBIEE repository changes and report changes. Willing to do the development work when required.
• Travel to business locations to participate in requirement gathering sessions and product deployment sessions
• Travel to remote development centers to build relationships, conduct technical training to remote developers
• Work with International business users to resolve BI/DW-related issues
• Resource management should have experience of managing resources and their attendance, timesheet approval, work allocation and resource billing.

• Experience with ODI, OBIEE and Oracle prepackaged BI applications is required
• Experience with Oracle Database programming required
• Experience with Oracle Essbase cubes preferred
• Experience with other databases, such as SQL Server, preferred
• Experience with Linux/Unix shell scripts preferred.
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP ) will be added advantage
• Functional Proficiency on Packaged BI Application (Oracle)
• Ability to work with functional groups and different level of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results
• Strong follow-up skills; ability to organize applicable department timelines and follow up with internal and external customer needs
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively
• Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast paced environment
• Strong track record of building and maintaining solid relationships with internal and external customers and vendors.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests and to collaborate with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify high quality solutions
• Strong technical documentation skills; ability to prepare technical specifications
• Excellent data analysis skills; ability to reconcile the reports with source applications and data warehouse
• Excellent problem solving skills; ability to troubleshoot data related issues and systems related issues
• Ability to communicate effectively with remote Developers and Quality Analysts
• Clear understanding of data warehouse and BI concepts
• Experience of managing OBIEE technical resources of minimum team size of 6 to 10 members
• Prior experience of managing vendor resources.

Preferably from a services organization background with prior experience in Onsite-Offshore model.
