Job Details

• The incumbent will be in-charge of PR & Communications of Aluminium business which will broadly include :
• Develop short-term and long-term road map for PR & communications for the business.
• Work in close coordination with the top management in relation to strategy development from an internal and external stakeholder management perspective.
• Positioning of Aluminium in the market at par with core industries.
• Identify internal and external issues and challenges which the business may face for successful strategy execution and develop mitigation plans for the same.
• Develop Aluminium business brand strategy, positioning and communication plan by working in coordination with the CEO Diversified Metals.
• Develop social media and other digital and innovative platforms to reach out to key opinion maker.
• Develop strong relationships with key agencies by building associations with key individuals in these agencies.
• Work with local and state level opinion makers to ensure that  strategic agenda is achieved.
• Develop the public relations strategy and budget of the organization in a manner which is aligned to the Groups overall objectives.
• Help the business through proper media strategy to achieve the business strategic matters.
• Work closely with media agencies to ensure that strategic agenda is portrayed in a positive manner.
• Regularly interact with the media and ensure their queries and concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
• Synergize among the units with uniform communication channels so as to benefit the organisation in totality.
• Proactively generate and evaluate new ideas for promotions, articles, press releases, publicity etc and ensure consistency of the same.
• Incumbent will be part of Aluminium Council, a leadership team of all the entities within Al business.

He/she should have experience in external relations and liasioning with government and other statutory bodies. Should have good stakeholder management skills and excellent communication skills. In this role, candidate will need to work collaboratively with the leadership team of BUs
