Designation Head/VP/GM-Purchase/Material Management
Job Description
  • Strategic actions Sizing of the unit with regards to Base/Variable load and capacity
  • Short Term Inputs to manufacturing with regards to material inputs, engineering inputs.
  • Medium Term Levelling of Resources and Managing Industrial Schemes.
  • Long Term Load x Capacity management hydro & GE2GE.
  • Monitoring of Sales x Cash Milestones and On Time Delivery.
  • Support and Implementation of Lean Principles.
  • Coordination and implementation of Global/CorporateProcesses & Tools.
  • Management of SAP ERP, Scheduling Tools, Inventory Tools.
  • Participation & Escalation through Level 1-4 Meetings.
  • Represent planning at Weekly Supply Chain reviews Local and Global level.
  • Responsible by results, expenses controlling, KPI implementation and use, people training, order / cleanness /
  • safety and discipline in his area.
  • Proposes to the Manufacturing Manager the operational budget for the Mfg. Planning area.
  • Act to improve actions for cost reductions and quality improvements.
  • Does the manufacturing programming (daily, weekly and monthly).Prepares the shop load charts (forecasted X achieved). Publishes the KPI results monthly for all Manufacturing areas. Do follow up and reports on manufacturing of projects.Plan with Maintenance when to stop machines for its operations.
  • Plan inspections with QC people. Keeps PM informed about delivery dates and manufacturing status for
  • each project., order and safety in his areas. People management, hiring and training. Global Manufacturing
  • KPIs use and results. Delays (materials and consumables arriving, equipment delivery).
