Designation Senior Management
Job Description
  • Help with designing, implementing and executing regional program status reporting package
  • Managing the NFRR report assessments to the NFRR Standard and development of remediation plans
  • Assisting with tracking reports that have issues through the steps to potentially notify regulators, define SIAIs, develop action plans, implementing process and technology controls, etc.
  • Develop MIS tools and reporting to support the Assessment and Remediation phases and demonstrate strong project management skills
  • Maintenance of NFRR inventory that team would be working on. Analyze and Document As-Is state. Identify Gaps (Requirement / Control / Process). Will be expected to create business case, conceptual designs (business process and technical) and translate business priorities and requirements into actionable, structured, project plans
  • Partner closely with the various GBAM teams, and Technology partners to define/re-define business processes and implement related technology solutions, workflows and quality assurance controls within Global Markets
  • Build & Implement plans to mitigate the identified Gaps. Candidate will have the opportunity to manage medium to large sized projects within the GBAM Operations & Global Markets Technology through full project life-cycle from the envisioning, definition of business requirements and processes, through to systems development, testing and implementation
  • Assist in issue resolution and removes roadblocks for programs
  • Set Quality Control guideline / process to review / validate the quality & correctness of NFRR reports
  • Update Senior Management on the status of the projects. Reports on program of projects with varying levels of complexity often involving multiple internal and external constituents and matrix of partners. Ensures transparency to key stakeholders, sponsor and champion
  • Communication skills will be heavily utilized in forming and communicating a change agenda and gaining stakeholder buy-in
  • Assist in managing program/project financials, risk management, and partners with technology program solutions manager for infrastructure requirements.
Desired Profile
  • A qualified Financial Professional with professional degree like CA / MBA from a reputed institute
  • 8-12 years of experience in Global Markets
  • Out of which, 6-8 years should be Business Analysis / Project Management
  • Ability to lead and drive change
  • Strong collaboration and relationship management skills
  • High sense of urgency with ability to drive results
  • Demonstrable evidence of stakeholder management
  • Effective multi-tasking and prioritisation skills
  • Self-starter, able to establish relationships and transcend multiple cross-functional/divisional boundaries, largely unaided
  • Ability to handle diverse workload and tight schedules
  • Strong risk assessment, negotiation and problem resolution skills.
  • Other experience: Significant industry experience
  • Detailed understanding of the landscape in Global Markets or Global Banking
  • Cross Asset class Knowledge
  • Has proven experience managing regulatory compliance and implementation of control framework initiatives
  • Has a proven ability to apply strategic thinking to multiple, complex organizational and business issues, and has ability to translate into practical plans for project execution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills
  • Ability to work across business groups and in a team environment.
  • Ability to interface across various levels within Middle Office, Technology, Operations, Finance and FO.
  • High proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel). Hands on experience with Excel VBA, MS access and Share point, will be added advantage
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines and work in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Ability to be an active team member and drive change.
