Job Details

Be responsible for end to end liaising and co-ordination of the ASEAN & South Asia ( ASA) level budgets/forecasts/corporate plan for FM business between Regional Business Heads and their BPMs, Product Controllers, Country and Regional Finance teams.
Support FM Business and Business Finance teams by ensuring timely and accurate submission of MIS and performance analysis by country and at a regional level
Support Product control in connection with monthly commentaries on Revenue and Costs movement
Support ASA Regional Team in connection with the data requirements for the monthly ASA MBR for FM Business
Undertake high quality analytics to improve the business performance and bring in efficiencies.
Support any other Adhoc data requirements from Business or Finance counterparts
Be fully aware of all the policies and procedures issued in relation to money laundering prevention. He/she must ensure compliance with these policies and procedures on an ongoing basis. Any suspicious transaction must immediately be reported to the supervising officer. To ensure adherence on an ongoing basis to all requirements of KYC / ML as may be issued from time to time and adherence would be measured with respect to outcome of S166 audits, Group audits and any Quality Assurance Reviews conducted.

Ensure Banks compliance obligations (Statutory/Group/Local Authorities including submission of returns) are met.

Supporting Business with Budget, Forecast and Strategy formulation and update relating to FM business for ASA and further split by country within ASA Region
Supporting business initiatives on ASA MIS for FM
Identifying MIS requirements and systems to deliver the same for ASA Business and Finance counterparts
JUDGEMENT / COMPLEXITY

High level of judgement and complexity
Has to strike a fine balance between demands of belonging to a business group whilst maintaining the functional independence on issues

Preferably a qualified accountant or MBA with 8 to 10 years of previous experience in the Banking / Financial Services sector and familiarisation with computerised accounting & processing systems.
Should be strong in Performance Management, MIS, Budgeting, Strategy forecasting activities.
Should possess basic knowledge of banking transactions and have general knowledge of banking regulations
Basic knowledge of Financial markets products offered by the bank
Should be conversant with financial analysis tools, Excels, Detailed Pivots and Charts, VBA is plus
Should be a resilient, self starter with well developed communication & inter-personal skills and a team player
