Designation Vice President Java Engineer
Job Description
  • Design and develop large-scale, latency-sensitive trading platforms with a focus on ultra-low latency and high-throughput processing
  • Build and maintain execution gateways and interfaces to exchanges and alternative liquidity venues, ensuring resilience and fault tolerance
  • Optimize system performance through profiling, benchmarking, and tuning (JVM, GC, and networking layers)
  • Analyze existing business functions and contribute to defining scalable technical solutions aligned with business objectives
  • Deliver high-quality software within defined timelines, adhering to best engineering practice
  • Take ownership of end-to-end delivery, including development, documentation, testing, and post-production support
Desired Profile
  • Strong programming expertise in Core Java with a focus on low-latency system design
  • Deep understanding of multithreading, concurrency, synchronization, and lock-free data structures
  • Solid knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/UDP) and performance optimization techniques
  • Familiarity with tools and practices such as Git-based CI/CD (e.g., GitLab CI)
  • Exposure to messaging technologies such as Kafka, Aeron, or Chronicle Queue (preferred)
