Designation General Manager - Factory
Job Description
  • Deliver very high standard of internal customer satisfaction index in terms of delivery and quality of produce from the Bangalore factory
  • Creating high levels of safety climate and culture in the factory across all levels.
  • Establish a quality assurance culture in the factory (with production team becoming the owner of the maintaining basis quality process).
  • Drive Manufacturing excellence and cost reduction initiatives in the factory
  • Drive Autonomous and Preventive Maintenance in the factory to reduce breakdown time.
  • Develop systems which enable continuous optimization of material and in-process inventory in the factory.
  • Responsible for designing and implementing manufacturing IT systems in the factory resulting in On line tracking of inventory across the factory and improved OEE tracking mechanism
  • Promoting and maintaining conducive, harmonious and inclusive IR culture in the factory.
  • Be a change agent and ensuring culture of continuous improvement in the factory
  • Custodian of compliances to legal requirements (licenses) for running the operations in the factory.
  • Formulate plans and budgets for the factory and ensuring strict adherence.
  • Coaching and mentoring team to performance oriented culture.
Desired Profile
  • Worked across different levels in manufacturing.
  • 3 years of leadership experience.
  • IR Experience/Union management and negotiation.
  • Experience in driving successful change management initiatives.
