Designation	Platform Architect(Big Data)
Job Description	Requirements Engineering, Solution Architecture, Design, Development and Deployment of analytics platform that is used to develop, deploy and deliver real-time insights on extremely high-volume telecom network data Architect, design, and implement high performance, large volume data integration processes, database, storage, and other back-end services in fully virtualized, cloud environments Implement security, encryption best practices for big data environments Create and maintain data flow diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams, system diagrams, business and logical systems integration as it pertains to BI and big data systems Ensuring optimal performance and resource utilisation in production environments for a diverse deployment configuration Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to understand current and future requirements, research reference architectures and align technology roadmap accordingly Guide the organisation in the form of the proposed architecture, design considerations, proof of concepts, reference implementations and expected RoI for the adoption of new tools and technologies Conduct product demos and training sessions for delivery teams and customers to streamline upgrades and deployment of new products and releases Mentor junior Platform engineers on code standards and guidelines
Desired Profile	10+ years of experience in end-to-end software development and system architecture, preferably in a product development organisation Hands-on experience in Java/Scala and Big Data tech stack – Apache Pinot/Druid/Hudi, HDFS, Hive, Presto, Flume, Storm, Kafka, Spark, NO-SQL databases is a must. Hands-on experience in working on high-volume and low-latency data Platforms for real-time analytics Well familiar with Parallel computing, In-memory computing, cache management and resource optimisation techniques Hands-on experience with SQL programming, predicate pushdown, Partitioning, Broadcast join, hash-join, indexing, data caching and query persistence Hands-on experience in building SQL apps on TB data at scale Hands-on experience with any MPP query engine – Athena, Presto is a big Plus Validated software engineering experience and discipline in design, test, source code management, and CI/CD practices
