Hiring For	One of the Leading MNC
Designation	Director - Engineering
Job Description	Setting Global policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines related to all aspects of Testing & Monitoring technology development. Establish and maintain relationships with leaders of various functions across the organization, the person should have strong interpersonal skills and should demonstrate the ability to provide insights and information at both the strategic and tactical levels. Build the engineering team, development process, and necessary technologies to deliver on the vision. Develop budgets and business cases to support investments. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Work with Engineering Managers globally on resource availability and allocation. Work on priorities as set by T&M product management – providing scope options, date/effort estimates etc. to build an agreed plan and then deliver to those plans. Work with the Engineering PMO team to track and report on T&M BU projects into overall Engineering reports. Report to VP of Engineering and escalate to management as needed. Assist, guide and motivate team members in the BU that perform engineering functions in support of product development. Define and review objective and training plans for direct reports
Desired Profile	Experience of 15+ years with considerable experience at a leadership level managing and leading a globally distributed team of at least 20+ members (Including Senior Engg. Managers, Architects, Development Managers, etc). Experience building innovative products and solutions. Must bring in excellent technical acumen and architectural skills (willing to be hands on if required). Prior experience building highly distributed large-scale enterprise products. A though leader who can understand business problems and help provide consumer centric technical solutions. Good experience of building complete products from ideation Stage / prototype/ POCs. Experience managing people, including career development, coaching and mentoring, and providing feedback to improve individual and team effectiveness. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. A global work experience or considerable experience working abroad in various technical and leadership roles would be a plus driving innovation, technical maturity, managing global stakeholders and key influencer skills are essential part of the role. Experience with Java, C or scripting languages Agile Methodology and Product development background only
