Designation	Executive Manager Traded Products Operations
Job Description	Leading a team of Managers responsible for Settlement of FX, Fixed Income and OTC Derivatives products across time zones in London, New York, and Sydney/APAC. Ensuring delivery of operational activities within agreed SLA targets. Applying prudent risk management techniques by identifying and responding to business risks; planning and executing risk mitigating procedures and reporting to drive a risk culture within the business. Working with both Australian and India leadership to develop and implement strategic objectives appropriate to the department. A proven track record of building teams on a global footprint and delivering on high profile projects to support multiple regions, products and businesses. To add further value a good technical understanding of the platforms and process within the industry to ensure CBA stays in-line with industry best practice and opens opportunities for new initiatives. Identifying, driving and delivering continuous improvement and efficiency enhancements in customer service, systems and processes. Anticipating and addressing operational resourcing issues and risks, proactively planning and resourcing the team effectively to deliver a consistently high quality service. Delivering to the operational plan for the team, and implementing recommendations for improvement to drive results year on year. Leading and maintaining strong internal and external relationships with cross business unit colleagues that support the achievement of broader team goals and objectives. Applying people leadership principles, systems and policies to effectively manage, develop and reward team; coaching and motivating them through observation and feedback to cause performance and engagement. Confidently lead the team through proposed changes driven from project and BAU initiatives, contribute to the implementation of change management plans and activities that impact the business.
Desired Profile	Senior level operations management of medium to large scale teams (e.g. 50 people) Knowledge of settlements products (FX, Derivatives, Fixed Income) highly desirable. Familiarity with the Industry regulatory requirements. Leadership and executive management within a financial services organisation Executive stakeholder management, influencing and negotiating Demonstrable risk management accomplishments Strong fiscal management capabilities Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills Ability to work in a geographically dispersed team and in matrix organizations Creative thinking and problem solving skills Industry and Product experience at a comparable level (~15 years) Tertiary qualifications: Business/Commerce/Finance or related discipline preferred. Relevant Operations experience.
