Designation Sr Manager Finance M&A
Job Description
  1. Work collaboratively with the senior management team in helping solve complex financial and M&A problems
  2. Evaluate identified M&A targets based on strategic fit, value creation potential and possible deal blockers
  3. Conduct valuation analyses and models to evaluate various opportunities
  4. Research and advise on transactional and general corporate matters and work effectively with outside advisors.
  5. Manage a team of analysts and streamline the M&A capabilities of the firm.
  6. Lead due diligence and all dimensions of deal execution.
  7. Collaborating between various cross-functional teams to enable proper transaction assessments and execution.
  8. Capable of leading commercial and legal negotiations with potential partners (acquisition targets, JV partners, merging entities etc.)
Desired Profile
  1. Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any other related field. Equivalent practical experience of the same is also acceptable for the position.
  2. 8+ years’ work experience in finance / M&A preferred.  At least 4 years of M&A experience, preferably in an investment bank.
  3. Experience with M&A and investments - familiarity with a wide variety of transaction types (e.g., private company, public company, stock purchase, asset purchase, cross-border, minority investments, joint ventures, etc.)
  4. Sound and practical business judgment, as well as common sense
  5. A proven ability to manage a large number and variety of mission-critical projects, working independently and often in ambiguous environments
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  7. Willingness to roll up the sleeves and be hands-on in all facets of deal management
  8. Resilience and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  9. Ability to multi-task and demonstrate good people leadership skills
