Responsible globally for driving the Technology agenda and alignment on common solutions for the Treasury, Capital Management and Liquidity business functions. We are a group of 400+ FTE’s covering following areas

• Partner with Treasury, Capital and Liquidity stakeholders to deliver high quality solutions against their business priorities
• Collaborate with other FSG Tech, CIO, FC and business groups to enable business outcomes
• Deliver solutions that enable our business using common, innovative solutions that reflect the latest market trends and Self-Service capabilities.
• We ensure production stability and controls that’s are at the center of our solutions and delivery.

SLI (Strategic Liquidity initiative) is a newly mobilized program to support delivery of improvements that would strengthen firm’s liquidity risk profile and risk management framework.
As a BigData Technical Lead, you will be part of the SLI Program and would be responsible to:

• Drive and demonstrate Technology thought leadership in BigData and Cloud Technologies
• Evolve SLI target technical designs (architecture and solutions) to supports regulatory and SLI business drivers and align to FSG Tech’s target architecture and strategic vision.
• Partner with key SMEs from business, Change and IT to define target technical architecture, strategy and roadmaps.
• Drive definition and adoption of technical standards and design principles
• Evaluate new technologies and tools in BigData and Cloud landscape and recommend appropriate solutions and roadmaps to support business drivers.
• Implement software components (as per the delivery need) in Java, Scala and Python languages
• Profile and optimize performance
• Drive and participate Scrum and Kanban teams tasks
• Collaboration in test specifications
• Promote and sustain flexible/agile working environment.
• Encourage and drive teams to achieve project goals
• Full ownership and delivery accountability of SLI work streams
• Demonstrate outstanding people management skills where you engage, encourage and motivate people to achieve world-class performance and customer experience.

• A minimum of 12+ years of experience and have following skills
• Specialist understanding of major technology trends
• Strong management experience particularly in running distributed development teams & vendor teams
• Excellent Communication and inter-personal skills with proven ability to engage and influence technology partners
• In-depth experience of leading and delivery on Hadoop based Platforms.
• Knowledge and experience in the latest technologies that includes BigData, Micro-services, Restful API’s, Containers, Data Analytics and Data Engineering
• Proficiency with Apache Spark core and Spark SQL using Scala or Python.
• Good knowledge of BigData querying tools, such as Hive, Impala, Kudu, etc.
• Expert programming skills in one of the mainstream programming languages. Preferred would be Java SE
• Large-scale distributed data analytic platforms and compute environments (Spark, Impala, etc.)
• Distributed file systems and storage technologies (HDFS, HBase, Hive).
• Knowledge and experience of implementing DevOps pipelines through Git, Jenkins, Jira etc.
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives.
• Good to have knowledge and experience on
• Cloud platforms such as OpenShift, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud
• Data Modeling and ML pipelines on BigData landscape
• Knowledge of visualization tools like QlikView/Qlik-Sense
• Understanding of regulatory environments and finance area is a plus
