Designation	Vice President - Data Scientist - P&C Analytics
Job Description	Manage a team of 4-5 data scientists and data analysts Develop new predictive and prescriptive models according to the product owner needs and subject-matter experts Test and evaluate external vendor ready models Maintenance of existing models (re-training for new clients, expansion) Perform a detailed need gathering and create modelling framework for the new risk consulting engagements Document all the models and maintain the versions Explore new data sources for improvement of the current model Develop/maintain dashboards that give competitive insights to the clients
Desired Profile	9+ Years of industry experience with a quantitative background (engineering, statistics, economics) Strong experience in multivariate non-linear modelling (ML, AI), but also in traditional modelling techniques (linear regression analysis, time-series analysis) Very well versed with the latest modelling and visualization packages in R and/or python Abie to produce high-quality, secure, and maintainable code in an agile environment (GIT etc.) Worked in the financial services industry (preferably insurance/consulting) Experience in developing actuarial models as a strong plus Experience in geospatial models (e.g. satellite image recognition) or econometric modelling (time-series models like ARMA and GARCH as well as their derivatives) as a plus Experience with MS Azure Machine learning platform as a plus
