Job Details

• Responsible for the availability, quality and integrity of environments across the agile development and release lifecycle
• Manages pipelines and integration of development streams into coherent releases
• Ensures the delivered environments and strategy support accelerating the CI/CD process
• Deliver improvements that enable the agile feature teams to self-serve around environment needs as far as possible
• Sets and enforces environment standards and processes for practices around development and test, in conjunction with Head of Product Engineering, Head of Quality Assurance and Heads of Delivery
• Manages supplier and third party teams to support studio environments and holds them to account for support performance
• Review environment-related challenges experienced by the Agile squads, and develop improvement roadmap to improve the velocity and quality of the Agile studio
• Strategic thinker, able to balance service, operational cost and risk across short and long term
• Expertise in Agile development practices and DevOps, including automated release and test
• Expertise in one of more of the applications making up the platform (e.g. Sonata, Thunderhead, CTC, Informatica)
• Strong problem analysis/investigation skills and the ability to produce creative sustainable solutions to system issues and user problems
• Strong client facing and verbal skills for Business users and managers with track record of engaging successfully with senior stakeholders
• Coaching and supplier management to drive performance and standards in collaboration with our suppliers and internal Agile squads
• Lead and role model the team culture of ownership, empowerment, continuous improvement, learning and mutual support

• At least 3 years of experience managing a highly effective support team
• BSc in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Several years of experience as a technology leader supporting software throughout a product or feature lifecycle
• Experience in effectively managing a range of tasks and priorities, simultaneously
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills, making them a phenomenal team mate
• Strong analytical, problem solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of one or more of the applications making up the platform
