Designation Senior Manager Sales-New Material Business - With Leading EPC Industry Client
Job Description
  • Implement sales objectives by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue and expense control
  • Meet monthly, quarterly and annual planned sales goals
  • Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by based on supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Meet existing customers to generate enquiry and service their requirements
  • Identify and meet potential customers and develop them as regular buyers of our products
  • Meet potential customers and educate them about our products and services. Continuous follow-up with them to generate interest and convert them to our customers.
  • Interact with the manufacturer for quotations, prepare proposals and follow up with customers at all levels of the sales cycle and follow up for payments
  • Track sales goals, preparing MIS and report results on an ongoing basis
  • Co-ordinate with all cross functional teams within and outside of our department to leverage synergy, build efficiency and replicate success
  • Visit manufacturing units as and when necessary to gain technical knowledge, understand production cycle, inventory control, delivery schedules, testing processes, new product development for effective management of sales and service delivery to the customers
  • Attend customer service issues and requirements and deliver prompt actions to minimise customer discontent and maximise customer satisfaction
Desired Profile
  • Exposure to Sales – Domestic Sales and Handling Channel Sales/Institutional Sales, Supply Chain Knowledge, Analytical skills, Interpersonal Skills
  • Work experience in composite product sales or any other industrial product sales.
  • Candidates should have at least 3 years of sales experience
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferable
  • Knowledge on MS Office
  • Analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills, ability to influence customer & partners, creativity & visualization skill, very good verbal and written communications, energetic, speed and agility, and assertiveness.
  • The person should be a go getter and should be able to take and own responsibilities and perform with minimum supervision
