Job Details

• Line management of reporting & analytics business analysts and developers
• Ensure that the reporting & analytics team delivers according to scope, budget and within the given timeframe
• Translate business requirements into solution design and patterns, which enables quality, re-usability, scalability, availability and maintainability in accordance with the overall business.
• Ensure best practice methods and analysis tools are utilized and reports are well documented, including training and support documentation
• Support the full application life cycle including incidents and change requests
• Contribute to the improvement and optimization of reporting development processes to ensure a stable and high-quality development life cycle

• Minimum of 10 years work experience in IT
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting and financial processes, including general ledger process expertise and financial accounting standards such as GAAP or IFRS
• Proven ability to build and run finance reporting solutions on the IT side, experience with external reporting is preferred
• Proven track record in leading and delivering projects
• Strong people leadership skills: Ability to lead and develop people within the team
• Integrative personality, bringing together Finance needs with IT capabilities
• Solid delivery focus as well as analytical capabilities
• Open-mindedness, willingness to co-operate in matrix type of organizations
• Convincing as trusted partner for the business, team members, and peers
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills
• Deep understanding of and experience with the application lifecycle process, including planning, design, implementing, testing and releasing new versions
• Proven experience with agile methods
• Understanding of and experience with applying DevOps concepts is a plus
• Fluency in English is a must.
