• Delivery of HW, HMI Mech and Wiring projects as per strategic plan with the help HW, Mech, Wiring skill sets available in team and Owns Time, Cost & Quality metric of Project delivery.
• Owns Talent management and resource management for predictable project execution.
• Drive HW integration through system engineering techniques.
• Drive the culture of end to end accountability with delivery focus within the team.
• Define KPIs and drive across team to build High Performing Execution Team
• Plan and monitor HW, HMI Mech and Wiring deliverables owning Requirements analysis, HW architecture, PCB layout design, Hardware-Software Interface Specification, EBOM, Wiring specification and Mechanical interface development.
• Interaction with internal Cross functional teams and external Vendor / Partners to develop integrated HW subsystem solution
• Working closely with Wiring & Electronic Component Manufacturer for Design for manufacturability during design, development & implementation
• Conduct Hardware / Mechanical Engineering design reviews for DFx (Six Sigma, Reliability, Manufacturing, Assembly and Testability)
• Understand global certification agency and other regulatory compliance requirements, such as UL and IEC and manage the traceability of HW requirements. Interface with external test agencies as required.
• HW Vendor development and management for HMI execution
• Develop technical expertise throughout the team, by coaching, mentoring, development, and infusion of new technologies
• Be a change agent for systematic problem solving capabilities within his/ her team
• Support development of the IP portfolio, patent attainment, and achievement of sustainable technology advantage strategies

• 8-12 years of experience in Electronic Control design and System Engineering, preferably in HMI / Infotainment
• Working level knowledge in HW & Wiring design, development and integration in User Interface space
• Hands on experience on development of HW & Wiring requirement spec and execution through Electronic Component Manufacturer in domain like Aerospace, Automotive, Appliances etc
• Proven System Integration capability
• Exposure to Requirement management and traceability tools like MKS, IBM DOORs
• Worked closely with external vendors to provide integrated HW solution
• Project Management, preferred PMP or Prince2 certification
• Proven People Leadership experience (Team Size: 50+)
• Excellent developer of technical and managerial talent
