Job Details

• Work closely with the company’s legal, business development, actuarial, underwriting and claims teams to manage and draft reinsurance contracts and other documents, ensuring business objectives are met and the company’s best practices are followed;
• Negotiate reinsurance contract terms with clients, resolve differences and ensure contracts are executed in a timely manner;
• Continually monitor the status of outstanding reinsurance contracts and take appropriate follow-up actions;
• Periodically review and update reinsurance contract templates for compliance with the company’s guidelines and applicable insurance laws and regulations;
• Facilitate the training, development and transition of any new resources added to the treaty team;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 5 years’ working experience; knowledge of the life insurance/reinsurance industry, types of reinsurance arrangement and reinsurance contract provisions will be viewed favorably;
• Experience in drafting commercial contracts and negotiating contract terms with external parties;
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English;
• Excellent project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines;
• Highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, efficient and independent;
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to changes;
• Good command of computer skills such as MS Word and Excel.
