Designation Financial Operations Analyst - With Leading Banking Industry Client
Job Description
  • Project Management - Understands and utilizes the basic concepts of project management, as they relate to the implementation of a project. Uses project management standard tools, methodologies and processes. Is able to proactively identify and mitigate project risks as well as to manage project issues.
  • Business Processes & Systems - Moderate understanding of business processes. Ability to analyze business processes and enhance internal controls in order to resolve issues, and improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Transaction Processing - Recommends solutions to problems/issues encountered during transaction processing. Develops guidelines for transaction processing and establishes processes for recording new types of transactions. Effectively uses technology to enhance efficiency and productivity in the processing of transactions
  • Financial Products - Moderate understanding of the range of available financial instruments (e.g., Loans, Guarantees, Equity and trust funds). Ability to verify/ensure completeness and accuracy of loan data and to dialogue with counterparts on IFC trust fund related products and services.
  • Risk Management & Internal Controls - Contributes to risk and controls training programs and efforts. Helps identify risk and control issues and co-ordinates remediation.

  • To play a critical role in new product initiatives and systems initiatives in close coordination with Loan and Equity Operations, Quality Assurance team, IT support team, and Investment operations team
  • Analysis and reporting of pre-month end and post month end key control related to Loans and Equity operations
  • Reconcile and articulate accounting issues related to transaction postings and prior period items
  • Oversee and perform tests on control effectiveness and accuracy based on regulatory requirements, and internal policies and procedures
  • Support and contribute to unit system enhancements, process improvements control enhancements, initiatives and explore possibilities of ROBOTICS implementation in Loan and Equity operations
  • Post- Commitment review of Investment agreements and ensuring that all terms and conditions are correctly reflected in the IFC systems
  • Process disbursements pertaining to regular loans, syndications, Compulsorily Convertible Debentures, Non-Convertible Debentures and equity investments.
  • Review and issuance of monthly/quarterly/semi-annually or annual bills to IFC’s borrowers including portfolio servicing
  • Review of loan agreements and booking of commitments in IFC systems
  • Settling of client’s payments related to loans, guarantees, risk sharing facilities and other debt instruments.
  • Support department’s various existing and future business automations and transformations in close coordination with various stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance to internal and external clients with regard to transaction processes, procedures and IFC’s corporate policies under all aspects of Loans, Guarantees, Donor Trust Funds Investments (DTFI) functions and Risk Sharing Facilities
Desired Profile
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in related fields with a public/private financial institution.
  • Knowledge of IFC systems (ACBS, BI reporting, SAP, Investran, Quantum,) procedures and policies shall be advantageous.
  • Ability to contribute to team performance with strong interpersonal and communications skills with attention to details.
  • Dedicated team player with excellent organization skills with ability to interact tactfully and professionally with clients and staff at all levels.
  • Ability to deliver under pressures, and deliver quality results with limited supervision.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Solid skills of the latest information and office knowledge technology and relevant business tools.
  • Highest ethical and business conduct standards.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English required. Fluency in another language a plus.
