• Monitor and manage compliance relevant to supplier risk
• Manage interactions with APRA or other Regulators relating to the management of supplier risk & controls activities;
• Ensure that third parties engaged by the Group are operating within the Group's approved Risk Appetite;
• Active involvement and participation in the enhancement of the supplier risk management framework and associated compliance obligations within the Group;
• Identify, monitor and provide inputs for the reporting of third party supplier risks at the Group level and provide guidance to the risk treatment of any supplier related risk issues;
• Scope, plan, deliver and report risk assessment activity over supplier arrangements with the intent to identify, measure, mitigate and report key risks. Note that the ability to travel in order to facilitate risk assessments at current and future off-shore locations is a pre-requisite
• Maintain Risk Profiles/ Risk & Control Self Assessments for key suppliers within
• Assist in the planning and delivery of the supplier Control Assurance Program
• Ensure that third parties engaged by the Group are operating within the Group's approved Risk Appetite.
• Assess and make recommendations in relation to the identification and acceptance of operational risks in outsourced and/or offshored suppliers
• Support supplier procurement activities through the provision of specialist risk advice
• Manage issues and operational risk incidents relating to suppliers
• Facilitate supplier risk governance meetings, and participate in broader Supplier governance activities as it pertains to Supplier risk
• Contribute and support interactions with APRA or other Regulators relating to the management of supplier risk
• Assist in the development of, and conduct Supplier Risk Management training
• Maintain an awareness of emerging risks and compliance requirements in the financial services.

• At least 8 years work experience in the Financial Services industry in Audit, Compliance or Consultancy environments;
• Preferably experienced in operational, technology or supplier risk management
• Sound understanding of information security management, Privacy, IT service continuity, IT disaster recovery, business continuity management, and third party control assurance
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and confidence dealing with senior stakeholders
• Proven team leadership and development skills.
• Advanced understanding and application of Incident and Issue management processes
• Proven experience in report writing and presentation skills to senior management within large organizations.
• Knowledge of current applicable regulatory requirements relevant to regulated financial institutions. Familiarity with APRA standards (not limited to CPS220, 231, 232)
• Certification like CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, CISM, COBIT, or ISO2700x would be preferred.
