Job Details

• Be a part of the DevOps Patterns and Practices team for the Enterprise SDLC Automation Platform. The platform provides numerous capabilities in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery space. Solutions involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools
• As a DevOps practitioner, the candidate will
• Evaluate capabilities pre-release through creation of samples, documentation and design reviews
• Identify usage impediments & influence changes in the best interest of the clients.
• Educate technology leads fronting their line of business & their support teams on using these capabilities
• Identify use case and use case solutions from an end-to-end perspective
• Gather and/or create best practices and patterns around usage of capabilities and tools.
• Gather and/or create standards and guardrails around usage of capabilities and tools.
• Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies.
• Proactively work with internal teams to streamline onboarding and usage of capabilities
• Create and maintain artifacts for client consumption in a Wiki

The role does not require

• Development of software for actual CI and CD capabilities
• Automation of CI and CD capabilities through scripting languages

• Proficiency with .NET application development (.NET/.NET Core)
• Proficiency with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Proficiency with SOA, REST/SOAP Web Services, JSON/XML
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Tools
• Experience with front-end web development with JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, Ajax, Angular/Angular2
• Experience with Source Control: Git or Bitbucket
• Experience with MSBuild, Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Development (CD), Jenkins, Ansible
• Experience with IDE: Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, or similar
• Experience with web/application servers: IIS
• Experience with at least one RDMS and SQL: Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server
• Experience with Agile/Iterative development and full SDLC development
