• Understanding Data center strategies and how Infrastructure is built
• Support Virtualization Technology like VMware, Azure, Xen OS, Hyper V, ESX Hosts
• Assess access provisioning setup
• Understand CPU/Memory/IOPS and other network thresholds
• Understand the business requirements and translate those to hardware requirement
• Role includes Systems Engineering, Integration, QA, and build environments with project based different technologies, Guide business customers through operations when needed.
• Familiarize high availability strategies ( Global Traffic Management, LTM, F5, Multiple Datacenters, GeoDNS, Load balancers) clustering technologies
• Understand storage type like SAN/NAS/Centera(Content storage) storage, etc.
• Document Systems design, configuration, create Run books for first level support and to provide better and consistent support throughout SDLC
• Understand Configuration Management Database and its importance, change requirements

• Experience in RHEL, Middleware (JBOSS, Tomcat, WebSphere)
• Redhat Linux, Middleware, Devops
• Knowledge of Network infrastructure and protocols
• Storage, storage filers, and storage allocation
• Windows OS and MS office Tool Suits
• Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing and Internet technologies
• Experience in Cloud computing
• ITIL
