Job Details

• Lead and drive the global process model for the Indirect Tax stream within Tax;
• Manage the Indirect Tax team to deliver on the end to end processes for indirect tax compliance and reporting;
• Manage stakeholders in the tax teams across different locations and at Group
• Review working papers for indirect tax compliance and reporting processes
• Provide tax technical support to the team on all Indirect Tax subject matter
• Execute and ensure smooth transition of indirect tax processes
• Participate and contribute to the design of the target operating model for Indirect Tax processes

Technical skills:

• Strong multi-jurisdictional indirect tax technical knowledge preferably in a banking industry
• Deep understanding of indirect tax laws across jurisdictions to identify opportunities to deliver tax efficiencies
• Hands on experience as a reviewer for Indirect Tax compliance and reporting processes
• Experience in PeopleSoft, transaction processing systems and tax engines/software
•  
• More than 10 years of experience in Tax, including at least 5 years with an Indirect Tax focus preferably from Shared Service Centres. Experience with Big 4s will be an added advantage
• Handled compliance and reporting requirements for multi-jurisdictional indirect tax regimes
• Hands on experience in execution of transition of indirect tax processes
• Strong understanding of accounting systems, transaction processing systems and tax engines/software
• Good track record in leading a team of high performing tax professionals
