• Playing a key role in our web-based projects
• Being responsible for the look and feel of a wide range of internal systems and tools
• Working closely with other technical team members
• Driving creativity and pushing new ideas to improve the overall user experience
• Maintaining a high standard of quality for our user-facing projects
• Learning about and keeping up with the latest frontend technologies
• Building highly scalable, least maintainable and performant frontend framework. All of our apps are really data demanding.
• Come up with design, style-guide, and user-interaction and quickly build prototype.
• Ability to defend your design decisions, and map it to your long term road map

• Expertise with front-end technologies, client-side Javascript and HTML based UI development
• Strong Understanding of JavaScript using current design patterns/practices, especially as it applies to building ReactJS applications
• Strong knowledge of CSS and experience building responsive web designs
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Dedication to providing excellent user experience (UX)
• Strong knowledge of the full web programming stack (Python/Django experience a plus)
• Experience with web services, especially for facilitating interaction among multiple systems
• Experience with Bootstrap or other CSS frameworks a big plus
• Practical knowledge of web optimization techniques
