• Work with a variety of vendor platforms and custom developed solutions.
• Demonstrate ability to adapt and learn emerging technologies in this space. Challenge self and team to innovate and keep up with market trends.
• Around 5 years of IT experience in Java/J2EE technologies, minimum 2 years in Endeca Commerce
• Strong hands on knowledge in Endeca Experience Manager version 11 and later
• Strong in Java, Spring, JSON, XML, REST Services, as well as general search engine concepts such as SEO, Web Crawler configuration, Parametric Search, ETL Processes, and Shell Scripting.
• Good in building Complex pipeline configuration, Content Acquisition Framework, Content Assembler, Endeca Presentation API and Assembler APIs
• Able to perform search tuning exercise and work with business unit to modify and improve upon existing search interfaces.
• Configure, manipulate, and extract data from the Endeca pipeline programmatically using JAVA/ JDBC and available Endeca tools
• Implement the appropriate Endeca index configuration, Experience Manager templates, and Search interfaces using XML and other tools
• Deployment template usage, Experience in defining Endeca system layout for production environments
• Must be able to communicate effectively to peers, scrum team members, and other IT team developers.
• Source control processes & tools ( Subversion , code branching) is a plus
• Technical Agility to quickly adopt emerging trends and support new platforms implementations
• Excellent organization, verbal / written communication. Must be able to build relationships and communicate technology direction effectively to peers, developers and other IT teams.
• Must be able to occasionally travel worldwide and flex daily work schedule to allow for time-zone differences for global team communications.

• Hands on Knowledge of eCommerce Platform Hybris or related technology
• Deep Solr experience
• Good knowledge of Lucidworks
