Job Details

• You will be part of a development team that is responsible for developing and delivering cloud native NMS
• Responsible for supporting Cloud service measurement, monitoring, and reporting of the Database
• Responsible for database deployment in varying cloud environments
• Responsible for the supporting efforts that improve operational performance and availability of cloud native NMS
• Responsible for continuous measurement and high availability of the Production database environments
• Provide technical support for day to day operations of critical Cloud Service database & applications
• Manage database backups, help implement high availability strategies for both on-prem and native cloud databases
• Manage SQL/NoSQL databases for cloud native NMS
• Manage and deploy NoSQL databases for cloud native NMS products in both data center, private and public cloud environments – including Cassandra, MariaDB and PostgreSQL
• Manage database backups, help implement high availability strategies for both on-prem and native cloud databases
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of availability
• Automate regular database tasks and help implement operational improvements
• Partner with development teams on complex query tuning and performance troubleshooting.

• Experience on Linux and large scale production systems
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
• Experience with Cassandra, MariaDB and Mongo DB.
• Proven ability to work independently; deploying, testing and troubleshooting systems
• Experience supporting high availability databases and scalable architectures
• Experience using Monitoring & Alerting tools
• Incident and Problem Management theories and practical experience
