• Lead the Piping Material team efficiently
• Quality, budget and respect of project schedule for piping material tasks
• Reviews the Client’s technical documentation and requirements
• Performs wall thickness calculations of pipes
• Prepares and approves of Piping Material specification
• Prepares and approves Valve material specification
• Prepares and approves Valve list/Line list
• Prepares and approves Datasheets for Valves, Piping Special Items such as Flame arrestors, spring hanger, Corrosion coupons, Special fittings and flanges
• Issues technical part of requisitions for all piping components calls for tender
• Issues technical bid evaluation for all piping components offers
• Issues technical part of requisitions for all piping components purchase orders
• Reviews and approves vendors documents
• Knowledge and experience in valve testing and inspection procedures
• Performs the inter-disciplines checking for the part of documents in accordance with the scope of piping material section
• Checks sub-contracted discipline engineering documents in accordance with the scope of piping material section
• Checks documents issued by piping material engineers
• Checks the material take off issued by the drafting office
• Is responsible for the establishment of the Material data base in PDMS and other standard software
• Assists inspection department
• Assists P&ID’ section preparation

• Minimum 15 years’ of Experience in Oil & Gas (Offshore)/Petrochemical/Refinery Industry
• Should have been worked as Piping specialist/ Lead Material Engineer for the FPSO/offshore Platform based Projects for minimum five years
• Must be familiar with International standards such as ANSI/ASME/API standard for Piping Material
• Experience in using standard software Piping Bulk MTO
• Experience in Valve inspection shall be considered as added advantage
• Knowledge in PDMS
