Job Details

• Mainframe fundamentals : z/OS basics and general architecture, parmlib members/concatenation, DFSMS (Storage management), JES2, HCD (Hardware configuration definition), VTAM, TCPIP, RACF/ACF2. Software installation process (SMP/E).
• Basic knowledge of some mainframe middlewares and products (IMS/DB2/CICS, MQ/Series, Websphere, Natural Adabas, TWS, TSA) …etc…
• He will upgrade the softwares he is in charge of regularly and configure them following the best practices and standards.
• He/She will work closely with our partner Accenture. He/She will NOT handle incidents on a daily basis, which is Accenture’s job.

• He/she will install and implement new products whenever decided, and if it matches a business need.
• He/She will have to document the way the said product(s) are operated in our environment, and give Accenture deployment check-lists whenever required, for deployment of new products or new versions.
