• Serves as a core member of an engineering team that designs and develops software applications Develop server side components, create and consume REST APIs.
• Assume ownership for existing and new modules including design, development and unit testing for enhancements of existing modules and development of new modules. Follows coding standards, builds appropriate unit tests, integration tests and deployment scripts. Analyze problems logically and exercise sound judgment in defining, evaluating, and solving difficult technical and operational problems where solutions may be of a precedent-establishing nature.
• Participate and collaborate with leads in design discussions, determines areas of complexity, potential risks to successful implementation, suggest enhancements to architecture, implement POCs (proof of concept) and enhance application.
• Contribute to continual improvement to design and architecture. Identifies exciting opportunities for adopting new technologies to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges.
• Performs ongoing refactoring of code, utilizing visualization and other techniques to fast-track concepts, and delivers continuous improvement.
• Analyzes requirements/ user stories to appropriately support design activities
• Work closely with team members, coordinate requirements, and perform feasibility study to implement them in application, provide schedules, and activities; contribute to team meetings and activities; troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
• Works with product managers to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and manages a list of technical requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issues

• Business Rules Management (Drools)
• Well versed with RDBMS concepts, schema design and hands-on experience with Oracle / MySQL / DB2 including SQL performance tuning.
• Good understanding of JavaScript and JavaScript Framework (NodeJS, VueJS, AngularJS etc.)
