• Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, epics and tasks.
• Ensure that changes to the requirements are tracked, maintained and implemented in accordance with the change management procedures.
• Ensure that the development and testing teams fully understand the specifications documented and the context around which they were provided.
• Perform thorough test strategy and test case reviews.
• Highlight project risks, suggest how they might be mitigated, manage and actively monitor the risks to reduce the likelihood of occurrence.
• Lead project estimation sessions by presenting early project requirements to the wider technology team. Provide the business analysis effort for inclusion into the technology estimate.
• Perform data gap analysis, and ensure data quality and consistency is maintained and where applicable provide the specifications to remediate/cleanse the data.
• Assist in maintaining the data dictionary and lineage, the system knowledge base, and user interface guide.
• Create training materials and conduct both formal and adhoc system and user training sessions with users as requested.
• Perform peer reviews and provide consultative advice on functional specifications, user stories, epics and tasks.
• Interact and facilitate discussions and workshops with a wide and varied audience from all levels.
• Provide production support assistance by analysing production issues, and proposing solutions.

• A minimum of 7+ years experience as an IT Business Analyst is required
• Proven experience in writing documentation for projects.
• Must have worked in global enterprise scale application developments and implementations
• Ability to plan an approach for analyzing, categorizing, and managing requirements.
• Capable of working independently to resolve issues and/or identify solutions
• Possesses strong negotiation and influencing skills, and has the ability to manage negotiations so that acceptable agreement between multiple parties.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience, and business information to technical audience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint and Visio);
• Outstanding presentation skills and highly effective verbal and written English communication skills;
• Good working knowledge of international banking; experience in Wholesale Banking, especially in the client on-boarding and/or due diligence (KYC), or applicable product knowledge is highly preferable
• Certification in Business Analysis, CBAP/ Agile methodology / Scrum master is added advantage
