• Various Welding Process, Qualifications
• Hands on experience with working with Nickel Welding, Cladding etc. and expertise with respect to Welding Fabrication at shop floor and Project Sites is a Pre-requisite
• Exotic alloys, Alloy Steels, Duplex steel & Range of Materials with varying Properties
• Sound knowledge on metallurgical aspects& analysis
• Sound knowledge of applicable range of Codes and standards in Fabrication. Knowledge of applicable Codes and Standards like ASME, ASTM, AWS, NFPA, ASTM, IS, BS Codes etc.
• Should have good knowledge in preparing & Reviewing of Work Procedure, Standard Operating procedures, ITP/QAPs/MQPs/, Welding schedule, WPS/PQR.
• Problem solver, analytical with respect to Welding Fabrication & must have assumed similar responsibilities with EPC Companies or Shop floors
• Strong knowledge base on Manufacturing, Fabrication aspects for range of Materials, Process, Consumables
• NDE Qualifications in line with ASNT-NC-1 A on RT, UT, PT, FPT, VT and MPT is must with valid Level-II Certifications.
• Wiling to Travel and work at site for longer durations
• QA QC Experience in Manufacturing Industry in Power sector is preferred
• ISO 9001: Series Internal certification with appropriate Auditing skill is a mandatory. Support in terms of Maintaining and Continually improving the Quality Management System ( QMS)
• Experience on Vendor Audit, vendor assessment and their development is required.
• Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills.

• Organize and participate in Pre-award, post-award, Kick-off meeting PIM, KOM and QA QC Patrols with Customer & Contractors.
• Preparing and Reviewing of WPS, PQR, and field welding schedule, site specific Procedures, NDT & PWHT procedures and other Inspection and testing related Procedures.
• Experience in dealing / handling Indian and Overseas Customers/Vendors.
• Vendor assessments and approvals, developments in ensuring effective and smooth coordination.
• Resolve of Deviations pertaining to NCR, Corrective action request, Site Deviation request, and field observation reports etc. Skills on Non conformity Management, Root Cause analysis and 7 Quality tool.
• Conduct site and vendor audits as per planned schedule on Project activities, identifying the quality issues and suggesting the corrective actions there on.
