Job Details

• Responsible for providing Mechanical solutions for System Integration Projects in India (eg. BRTS, smart city etc.)
• Identification of technical requirements from given RFP and qualification of vendors/vendor products matching the technical requirements
• Performing of technical audit on vendor process/products interms of design, manufacturing, implementation, Product compliance/Regulatory standards etc.
• Analysis of reported field issue, identification of root cause and providing solution
• Responsible for Mechanical Design and Development
• Functional Specification, Design Requirement Specification preparation(Concept Design), Mech Design & Development(Detailed design), Prototyping, Product design validation and Regulatory compliance testing etc.
• Technical Interface with other teams, vendors, customer support engineers to continuously improve the quality of the product

• Highly experienced Mechanical design and development skill sets in the field of IoT/telecom/network products.
• Good Analytical skills in Industrial Design concept models,drawings and making recommendations for manufacturability and reliability.
• Good knowledge on preparing BOM and costing of parts and assemblies.
• Good knowledge on indoor and outdoor products.
• Good knowledge on thermal consideration(natural cooling, forced cooling.)
• Good knowledge on sheet metal, plastics and casting components design.
• Good Knowledge on manufacturing of Plastics, sheet metal and casting components.
• Experience in any of the CAD tools( Solidworks,Creo,etc)
• Good knowledge on environmental testing of electronic products.
• Good knowledge in interpretation of Product Compliance/Regulatory standards
• Hands-on experience in usage of tools/ Measuring equipments like(Data logger,Calipers and gauges etc.)
• Hands-on experience in design tools like DFM,DFA
