Designation Sr. Principal Software Architecture with Leading IT MNC Client
Job Description
  • Reports into AirVision Chief Architect.
  • Will be accountable for providing Technical leadership, identify emerging trends and drive strategic architectural plans to a portfolio of products.
  • Collaborate with Airline Solutions Enterprise Architecture teams for defining strategic reference architectures meeting business needs. Motivate and guide application architects and development leads to understand the architecture blueprint. Drive implementation at each product design to align with the enterprise architecture guidelines.
  • Creates and maintains architectural best practices, addressing application, data and technology in the context of business processes across the product portfolio.
  • Will understand and address the concerns of the key stakeholders across business, development and operations. Should align architecture decisions keeping in mind functional, non-functional (performance, security, scalability, stability, integration) and operational aspects (maintainability, operability, availability) to obtain desired business outcomes.
  • Analyze portfolio solutions offered to the strategic clients, identify architectural and other technology gaps between the existing solutions and client-specific requirements; design and implement solutions for addressing the identified gaps.
  • Will mentor and groom a team of application architects.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and influence them in investing to change existing solutions or build new solutions delivering enhanced value to customers.
Desired Profile
  • Must have excellent communication skills written as well as verbal; must be able to articulate the value proposition of solution/services to senior teams from client/prospect
  • Must be detail oriented and data driven for decision making.
  • Must have experience in delegating and managing multiple initiatives.
  • Must be able to translate business requirements into technical requirements and solutions by planning, developing and refining to-be architecture
  • Must have experience with developing and implementing application strategies and patterns.
  • Must have experience with building complex integration architecture.
  • Must have experience in design and development of event processing based applications
  • Must have experience with designing solutions for AWS Cloud
  • Must have experience with implementation of Microservices architecture.
  • 10+ years overall IT experience involving:
  • Agile Methodologies
  • MVP approach
  • Object Oriented Analysis and Design
  • Design Patterns
  • Capacity Planning for High Availability: Application Servers, ESB, and Database
  • Software engineering practices, Continuous Integration and Continuous deployment
  • DevOps
  • Exposure to both Sql and nonsql Databases like Oracle, Teradata, Vertica, MongoDB
  • Must be hands on to help and guide the Architects to complete PoCs in short time.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to work on multiple products simultaneously.
  • Should be a great collaborator.
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Ability to organize and lead matrixed teams.
  • Mentor application architects.
