Designation Manager Sales - With Leading Construction Industry Client
Job Description
  • Implementing marketing strategies (segmentation, differentiation, positioning, product mix, pricing, etc.), programs, and sales & marketing tools, executing marketing/pricing policy and plans
  • Preparing sales forecast; planning and implementing strategies to achieve sales, profit, and market share objectives of the company; developing and delivering on annual and quarterly sales/profit plans
  • Implementing strategies to achieve sales & profit objectives of the company; implementing & delivering on annual & quarterly sales plans.
  • Monitoring market, product mix movement & apprising management periodically
  • Collecting and evaluating market feedback and competitor information; developing and recommending plans to counter competition
  • Monitoring and analyzing sales & industry data, market trends, and impact of changes in external variables (e.g. exchange rate, IMPEX policy, etc.); initiating appropriate actions
  • Liaison with regional offices, group companies for business related to the region assigned
  • Providing/organizing (technical) sales support, monitoring progress, and ensuring achievement on a sustained basis
  • Identifying and developing new markets; generating new inquiries
  • Attending periodic review meetings and preparing reports
  • Developing & Maintaining relationship with customers
  • Implementation of ISO, QS, EMS policies, objectives & procedures in the department and assuring compliance
  • Implementing time bound projects/survey which will develop competitive advantage.
Desired Profile
  • Experience in handling technical sales, direct sales, and distribution management working with an engineering company, preferably in the area office of an MNC.
  • Exposure to modern manufacturing practices is desirable.

  • Computer literate with experience in using MS Office.
  • Special Training/Abilities:
  • Experience in dealing with Government authorities and fair knowledge of applicable taxes is desirable.
