• Skills and knowledge acquired through Development, Technical Lead, or Project Management. The skills to include: Project Management, Change Management, Release Management, Configuration Management, Software Development Life Cycle Methodologies, Understanding of Quality Assurance and Testing
• Project Management skills including: Estimating, Scope Management, Budget Management, Time Management, Risk Management, Change Management, Issue/Conflict Resolution, Communication Management, Quality Management, Testing Plans, Training Plans, Team Management
• Strong history and track record of completing quality projects on time, as well as a proven track record in coaching and mentoring others to success
• Project planning and progress monitoring including budget control and milestone control; issue and risk management
• Ability to communicate and interact with internal stakeholders and clients and provide precise and detailed reports and information

• Provide overall development leadership and direct product development teams in the delivery of high-quality products within committed timeframes
• Overall responsibility of planning, execution and delivery of developments/enhancements as per the committed releases, dates and with expected quality levels
• Work with Product Directors/Product Managers/Development Teams to define code drops and co-ordinate the alignment of code drop dependencies
• Co-ordinate through the various teams and stakeholders for all delivery activities and act as the escalation point for all development issues specific to enhancements
• Ensure Scope changes are captured and impacts identified and managed
• Utilize and update internal systems on delivery management in a timely manner, thus ensure timely status reporting
• Ensure 100% compliance to Quality and Release Processes
• Participate, as required, in steering committee meetings, senior executive meetings and other such events
• Ensure allocation of defect fixes as per priority 
• Coordinate on different activities (Coding, Code Review, Testing, Regression & Integration), ensuring the fixes are delivered on time and within SLA
• Provide necessary and periodic updates / fix dates to the Support Management Team
• Operational management of development resources
• Responsible for the overall planning of the resources based on project demands
• Manage allocation of resources to various tasks
• Effective utilization of resources and control overrun and support
• Responsible to do the succession planning for critical resources
• Skills management and career management of resources
