Job Details

1.Leads the proposal team in developing new proposals per  guidelines and ensure completeness of all proposal related documents.
2.This position works independently on complex engineering projects and coordinates issues on multi-disciplined projects
3.Project control experience in project schedule and cost control. Proficient in Microsoft Projects in developing schedule & updating
4.Equipment, fabrication, bulk material, valves and specialties & engineering estimating - Able to understand unique project requirements and can develop, adjust, scale-up or modify past cost estimates to fit 1st time applications.
5.Construction cost estimating - Good understanding of all issues affecting construction costs labor rates, materials, productivity, direct and indirect costs, schedule impacts, effect of different contract types. Can lead construction estimating efforts on large or 1st time projects.
6.Contingency estimating - Able to understand risks and uncertainties of unique or 1st time projects, test and evaluate cost estimates against previous projects, or use other methods to determine risk areas and recommend contingency amounts.
7.Taxes, duties and foreign currency exchange rates - Able to identify problem areas or opportunities in tax, duty and foreign currency, and work with internal experts and/or GSS regions to resolve.
8.Ability to use cost estimating software
9.Participates as a key contributor on project teams
10.Identify potential & critical issues and work with team members to develop recovery / resolution plan.
11.Develops work processes and improvements.
12.Provides guidance to project team on project execution issues
13.Understand project scope and develop schedule and cost WBS element
14.Develop project cost estimation breakdown and assign costs to proper categories.
15.Develop project detailed schedule and use CPM to analysis project schedule in MSP and use resource loaded schedule
16.Use Earned Value method to establish project progress and analyze project cost and schedule performance

Should have experience in large scale project estimation and scheduling from Engineering, supply, construction and commissioning.
Should have adequate knowledge on taxes & duties and also schedule development & control.
Planning , Organising, Time Management.
Assertiveness.
MS Excel (Basic), MS PPT, MS Project.
Should have completed trainings for next level incase of promotion to the next level
Other training as a result of gap assessment done.
