To define process for new product getting introduced in Closure Product line.
To estimate the labour cost & capital investment for new products
Work with Design to ensure DFA design for assembly
Functional position within Closures product line
Know-how on new processes for quality and cost continuous improvement
Flawless launch of new products getting introduced.
Work with CFT to meet the program goals, active coordination with Program management, Designers, Purchasing & Supply chain
Responsible to define packaging requirements for incoming & outgoing parts
Prepare & face customer audits, run at rate, PPAP approvals
Comply with PDP process requirements for new product development
Meet all the PPAP requirements preparation of process documents PFMEA, control plan, SOPs
Productivity improvement activities
Standardization of process as per the Global process followed at other sites.
Work on Vertical integration projects
Global support for equipment development out of India

• Minimum of 6 years experience in Automotive Industry in manufacturing engineering preferably in assembly industry.
• Knowledge of Industrial engineering tools MOST, work measurement, line balancing.
• Understanding and experience in DFA.
• Experience in working with the quote team for capital investment & labour time estimation
• Working knowledge of TS16949 (other applicable standards for automotive industry).
• Knowledge about cable manufacturing will be added advantage
• Good communication skills, confident presentation technique.
• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
• Logical approach to Problem Solving (8D).
• Drives for Execution Excellence and Makes Sound Decisions
