Job Details

Individual needs to thoroughly understand the requirements & accordingly prepare Test Cases. Test Cases should cover the complete requirements along with the Test Data that would be used for Test Execution. He should be strong in Test Execution based on Test Conditions and should have ability of diagnosing the Defects. He should be strong in Defect Analysis, Reporting & Tracking of the Defects.

Planning and problem-solving tasks

• To plan the Test Design, Test Data Preparation & Test Execution
• Analyzing the root-cause of the defect
• Reproducing the current Production issues

Communicating tasks

• Should be good in communicating the Defects with Development Team
• Should be good in Understanding the requirements & in transforming the same into Test Cases
• Should be able to find out the risk in Test Execution & escalate the same to Test Manager
• Should be continuously report Testing Progress to Test Manager
• Preparation of Test Report & Test Log in an optimum Manner.

Domain, Technical and Quality tasks

• Strong in Testing Methodology & Testing Process
• Should be aware of Black Box & Grey Box Testing Technique
• Should be possess good Database Skills
• Experience of Testing Java Based Application is preferable
• Should be good in Review of Requirement & Test Cases
• Should continuously keep on improving the Testing Process within the Organization

Organizing tasks

• Should be able to prioritize the Testing work as per the situation
• Should be able to prioritize or communicate the priority & severity of Defects to the development Team

Minimum 8 -10 years of relevant experience in software testing in Retail / Ecommerce Industry.

B.Tech/B.E. /BCA

Functional Skills

• Experience on HP Quality Center would be an added advantage.
• Experience on HP QTP would be an added advantage.
• Experience on HP Loadrunner would be an added advantage

Relevant (Functional/Level) and total years of Experience
Minimum 8 -10 years of relevant experience in software testing in Retail / Ecommerce Industry.
