Job Details

Responsible for CNC programming creation/ modifications.
Responsible to handle the cutting tool issues.
Knowledge of different types of machining (Drilling, Milling, Tapping, Boring, Rolling, Honing, Grinding) on Cast Iron, Aluminum & Forge steel.
Knowledge of ancillary equipments/SPM processes (Leak test, Washers, Assembly station etc.)
Facilitate day to day support to Manufacturing operations and Quality for process related issues
Deploy short term and long term plans to improve process capability of critical and important parameters
Conduct/facilitate OEE and throughput improvement CFT meetings to improve equipment OEE and de-bottleneck machines in his area
Coordinate with OEMs to resolve irritant issues in his area
Engage/review with tool management services for discussing and resolving tooling related issues - coordinate tooling changeovers and new trials and report out performance
Respond with countermeasures to PCS [problem solving tool] for timely action completion
Adherence & Gap Closure of current process with respect to BOP / BOE / BOO / BOSE etc.
Conduct Process Audit to Check Health of Process.
Regular review of PFMEA / Control Plan along with CFT.
Drive RPN reduction projects
Impart training / Knowledge to Manufacturing Operations Team Member/Team Leader to improve their skill set. (eg. PFMEA/Control Plan/Cutting Parameters/CNC programming etc..)
Monitor & Control machine cycle time to support throughput.
Drive cost reduction projects
Prepare documentation / procedures for ME function
Identification & Implementation of Error Proofings to robust process
Knowledge of ISO/TS System
