BASIC FUNCTIONS:

Primary purpose of the Job & major expected results
Primary Purpose: To assist the Group Leader and his team to attend and clear Major Breakdowns 
Maintenance Expert in Electricals, Controls

Major expected results:

1. To update, modify and control the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance System for its execution to reduce breakdown time and eliminate occurence of repeatitive breakdowns
2. Achieve and maintain the Repair and Maintenance cost, initiate inhouse repairing and localization activities to reduce Maintenance cost 3. Maintain the Program Backup of all equipment 4. Execute appropriate modifications in Electrical circuits and PLC logic to increase Equipment Maintainability, increase MTBF and reduce MTTR
5. Identify & implementation of Energy saving ideas

II. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

(Include Task and activities performed by the position)
1.Setup the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance activities,
2.Setup spare parts & review spare parts availibility
3.Identify and list maintenance breakdowns and initiate appropriate corrective action, 
4.Implement modification in PLC logics and / or Electrical control circuits to enhance System capability and energy saving,
5.Review,Train members on ESWP practices 
6.Support the Manufacturing Engineering Team to install new equipment, identify maintainability issues & communicate to ME.
7.Localization of spare parts, 
8.Timely repairing of Electrical spares (inhouse or by external agency)
9.Plan for technical training to GL & teams,
10.Executing & maintaining quality in AMC jobs
11.Budgetting for maintenance cost
12.Planning & updation of maintaince activities in Computer based Maintenance Management
13.Planning & execution for maintenance shutdown activities
14.Support GL & team for kaizen & suggestion implementation
15.Preparation & analysis of Weekly, monthly maintenance report
16.Communication with OEM & ME on equipment maintenance.
17.Escalate maintenance issues to section manager. 

Operation and Maintenance of P&F Conveyors, Floor conveyors, Power roller beds, Vertical droplifters, booth & ovens, Air handling Units, pumps, Fire fighting systems, Paint process equipmens, Welding Fixtures, Shuttle, EMS, EOT Crains, Tester line & filling line equipments, Robots, Presses and SPMs, Welding equipments & all allied automotive industrial equipments
Planning and Execution of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance activities, 
Spare parts planning,
Knowledge of reliable maintenance techniques 
Knowledge of Contollogix, Guardlogix, HMI, DeviceNet,EtherNet, VFD, Rectifier systems
Well versed with quality & environment management systems
Skills  
PLC ladder programming and modification, 
Troubleshooting of Electrical drives , controls and systems 
HMI Programming.
Computer knowledge, Presentation & communication skills
Reading & understanding electrical & PLC ladder drawing
Basic knowledge of hydraulic & pneumatic drawings.
