Job Details

• Preparation of Technical Specification for steel structure/RCC Structures as per MHPS standards for Domestic Projects
• Review and comment on inputs from other sections like Mechanical , piping, electrical etc from structural engineering point of view
• STAAD Pro Modeling, review of structural steel models for heavy steel structures(Boiler Supporting Structures, Power house, coal bunker supports, Junction towers/transfer towers, pipe racks, duct supports), in power plant
• Preparation and review of AutoCAD drawings.
• Independently planning beam/column layout of heavy steel structures based on input from other departments to freeze the general arrangement considering stability and strength perspective
• Coordination, control and support of engineering partners/consultants for preparation of engineering outputs including drawings, calculations and specifications as per MHPS quality standards and schedule requirements

The candidate should have experience in Design , Detailing of Foundations, steel and RCC structures. Should be able to do Estimation Work, able to understand and prepare technical specifications, review civil and structural calculations and drawings

The candidate should have experience in planning foundation, beam and column layout, preparing technical specification for steel structures/RCC Structures/Excavation for thermal power plants, strength calculations.

The candidate shall be conversant with International codes and Indian Standards for analysis and design of Foundations, Steel structures/RCC Structures including all load calculations (Dead Load, Live Load, temperature load, Seismic Load, Wind Load etc). He/She should have excellent presentation & communication skills to handle overseas project. He /She shall have adequate knowledge in usage of MS office software like excel, words for preparation of design calculations

Experience in civil foundation designs.
