Designation Assistant Manager/ Manager - Portfolio Management
Job Description
  • Solving business problems, like analyzing bad segments of varying degree within portfolio requiring specific collections treatments, and accordingly guide collections team with specific targets.
  • Identifying loss making segments in portfolio and recommending remedial strategies, with aim to reduce loss provisions and enhance profitability.
  • Future risk estimation using past trends and future expectations.
  • Hypothesis generation for potential future risk and budget preparation.
  • Analyze complex data and figure out key trends with concrete recommendations.
  • Create customized report dashboards from Data Warehouse (DWH) and investigate trends.
  • Should be proficient with SQL/SAS and handy with DWH to pull out data for ad-hoc requests and analysis.
  • Prepare dashboards, reports and presentations for management with relevant information and action items.
  • Work on and create excel based data models and automated reports.
  • Future opportunity to ideate and create statistical models to predict customer or portfolio behavior using SAS/R.
  • Collaborate with other risk departments for inputs and data.
Desired Profile
  • Strong Analytical proficiency Must have for this role
  • Engineering background a must, preferably with MBA/MS from reputed institution
  • Experience working with SQL, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in Banking and Financial Services Industry is preferred
