Designation Market Quality Engineer
Job Description
  • Trending and tracking PQS customer complaints for market theme teams and departments.
  • Basic automotive systems/components understanding.
  • Expert with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.
  • Good speaking, reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Good leadership skills.
Desired Profile
  • Analyze market data (warranty claims, IQS/PQS (Product Quality Study) data, and other customer complaints.
  • Create and develop weekly and monthly reports for manufacturing and quality departments.
  • Lead and/or support internal and external IQS Appliances audits during mass production and new model timing.
  • Track and trend all IQS and PQS customer complaints.
  • Develop IQS strategy plan for improving overall plant PPHU (problems per hundred units) score.
  • Support new model IQS target development.
  • Responsible for gathering IQS theme team information from plant theme leads and reporting at monthly meetings.
  • Create IQS/PQS check sheets and scorecards for departments to utilize during the IQS period.
  • Reflect past problem history, based on customer complaints, into new model design.
  • Report at new model evaluation periods.
  • Lead market quality theme team meetings.
