Designation Manager - Logistics
Job Description
  • Proven working experience in any or all of the following domains: Supply Chain & Operations, Freight Forwarding & Transportation Inventory Management & Warehousing/ Distribution, EXIM Ops, Excise, Customs Clearance
  • Experience in BPO / Manufacturing industry preferably in electronics
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
  • Conflict resolution & Decision making skills
  • Knowledge and ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite & outlook proficiently
  • Knowledge of ERP (Preferably BAAN)
Desired Profile
  • Strategically plan and manage logistics activities like Freight Payment & Audit, Transportation, Freight Analytics, warehouse, customer service.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement in the execution of Logistics processes
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
  • Monitor Monthly Site Metrics & Develop Logistics team capabilities to ensure proper support for sites and stake holders
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
  • Support growth plan - aligned with Transfer plan strategy
  • To meet or exceed desired service levels for the various activities undertaken on behalf of the global sites
  • Supervise, mentor and guide the team towards effective discharge of functions
  • Perform Quarterly / Annual performance appraisals for the team members
  • Comply with the QMS policies and ISO requirements
