Job Details

• Enterprise Command Centre is responsible for the 24/7 monitoring of whole Client's IT estate including critical bank systems, applications and IT services and strives to reduce both the duration and impact of outages of systems.
• This is an outstanding opportunity to join a newly established Mainframe Operation Centre driving the transition from service provider, influencing processes and shaping team.
• As a Team Manager you would have a direct responsibility for the service your team provides, collaboration with counterparties across Enterprise Command Centre teams, Technology Towers and business IT teams 

Focus area:

• HR management of own team members including active involvement in recruitment, leading and distributing workload for the staff
• Motivating and ensuring engagement and continuous development of team members
• Efficiently dealing with escalations and Major incident management situations ensuring minimal disruption to the Business
• Proactively engage and communicate with relevant stakeholders and alignment of expectations
• Driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the overall Business Incident and Event Management processes

• 1-2 years of people management experience
• Educational background in IT or similar field
• Good understanding of Mainframe operations
• 2 years of work experience in IT Infrastructure support teams (advantage)
• Excellent level of English language
• Ability to develop and motivate staff in a way that enables them to fully exploit their potential
• Effective communication and presentation skills using a variety of styles to suit the situation (advantage)
• Analytical thinking and catching the essence of complex problems, requirements and questions quickly
