Designation Taxation(Indirect) Manager
Job Description
  • Proper tax accounting, DTA/MAT and tax provision for accounts closure; tax account reconciliations and creation of various tax codes in Oracle
  • Creation of various Tax codes in Oracle as per the requirement under various tax laws. Computation of DTA/MAT/Tax provisions for monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closure
  • Preparation of briefings and presentations for audit committee and senior leadership
  • As the Team Leader of Indirect Taxes for pan-India operations (20 + states), the candidate shall ensure end-to-end compliance with VAT and service tax laws
  • Advise on indirect tax issues arising on various business transactions.
  • Guidance & Monitoring of indirect tax team at corporate & circles offices.
  • Meeting with advocates / sr. counsel and assistance in ensuring smooth litigation to help companys cause.
Desired Profile
  • Chartered Accountant(1st/2nd Attempt Qualified) with 10+ years of experience in finance/ accounts/ tax function with minimum 5 experience of experience into Taxation
  • Expert knowledge in Income Tax and good working knowledge in service tax; sound accounting knowledge; proficiency in excel
  • Learning approach, adaptable to changes , zeal to update himself with the changing law, focused to job, handle responsibility
