Designation Data Analyst
Job Description
  • Review of data flows and reporting outputs from a quality, accuracy and consistency perspective
  • Validating the requirements & supporting UAT activities
  • Review various system outputs, complete data gap analysis & impact assessments, and provide business insight & guidance to support UAT testers and business stakeholders during UAT and data validation phases of the core releases. 
  • Data reconciliation, preliminary report validation, data issue investigation and management as well as problem analysis

Key projects being managed by the department are:
Global Liquidity Reporting System (GLRS);
Interest Rate Risk (IRR);
Global Stress Testing (GST) and
Firm-wide Data Submission Framework (FSDF)
Desired Profile
  • Graduate degree in Finance/Accounting
  • MBA / CFA desirable
  • Business analysis and quality testing experience
  • Financial Services project experience
  • Should have a good understanding of banking & financial products (e.g. retail, wholesale)
  • should have high-level understanding of the principles of stress testing management and reporting
  • Experience of credit risk reporting, including knowledge of Regulatory Capital reports
  • Strong knowledge of data reconciliation processes and variance analysis
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle and project management life cycle in an agile environment
  • Knowledge and working experience in SQL & BI tools is desirable
