Job Description

We are looking for CEO for Nigeria location for Integrated Steel Plant


Brief about the role
 
Ensure that the company is functioning most efficiently with special care to maintaining good quality and safe work environment meeting all objectives of profit, customer satisfaction, healthy financial performance, managed risk and satisfactory working atmosphere for all staff.

Responsibilities would include:


  1. Responsible for the full operation of the company and its budget as well as customer expectations. 
  2. Responsible for the daily production operations of the company and all its components. 
  3. Manage the responsibility of the entire operation of the company within the boundaries of the budget and showing developing plans to save on operational costs. 
  4. Develop and improve process efficiency and quality standards adherence. 
  5. Develop the company and introduce new products and processes to increase efficiency and productivity 
  6. Control optimal production solutions and equipment needs. 
  7. Manage and help in the development and update of all operational procedures. 
  8. Implement and maintain ISO quality standards 
  9. Responsible for staff adherence and improvement using up to standard Manufacturing principles 
  10. Responsible to provide the necessary training to all staff for development and improvement. 
  11. Able to manage production personnel: Work allocation, training, and problem resolution. Able to evaluate employee performance and motivate to achieve peak productivity. 
  12. Monitor and recommend proactive corrective and preventive equipment and machinery maintenance program. 
  13. Prepare annual budget and present to management the yearly performance and outlook of the company. 
  14. Forecast facility capabilities and manage annual production operating budget. 
  15. Able to measure and upgrade standards for all job functions and procedures. 
  16. Produce management reporting, information details meeting manufacturing and operational metrics.
  17. Regular meetings with the board. 
  18. Responsible for profitability
- Experience between 18-25 years preferably in steel plant
- At least 8-10 years on senior/top level management
- Open to relocate to Nigeria

Desired Profile

 

  1. At least 18 years of experience in Heavy Manufacturing (Steel & Iron will be preferred)
  2. Should have strong experience overseeing all aspects of the business from technical to financial to planning to sales to manufacturing etc
  3. Familiar with manufacturing process and its associated equipment
