Designation Executive Director - Software Engineering Manager
Job Description
  • Lead and scale an India-based engineering organization focused on algorithmic and electronic trading technology.
  • Establish a strong technology and engineering foundation to support evolving regional and global business requirements.
  • Own end-to-end delivery for algorithmic trading platforms, including new capabilities, enhancements, modernization, and production stability.
  • Oversee the complete technology lifecycle for major initiatives, including architecture, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Promote modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD, DevOps, automation, automated testing, and continuous delivery.
     
Desired Profile
  • Senior technology leader with 10+ years of experience in algorithmic trading, electronic execution, or financial markets technology.
  • Strong expertise in equity trading and execution platforms, with a proven track record of delivering mission-critical, high-performance technology solutions.
  • Deep technical proficiency in Java-based trading platforms, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and low-latency technologies.
  • Proven ability to translate trading and business requirements into scalable technology strategies, architectures, and delivery roadmaps.
  • Strong understanding of equity market microstructure, electronic trading, and Indian financial markets.
