Designation Technology Director - Data Engineering & Platforms
Job Description
  • Lead the end-to-end development of enterprise data platforms supporting large-scale structured and unstructured data.
  • Integrate data governance, lineage, metadata management, and data quality frameworks into engineering solutions.
  • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of technology solutions, including those provided by third-party vendors.
  • Architect and deliver cloud-based data solutions using modern data engineering frameworks
  • Drive continuous improvement in software engineering practices, including quality, security, scalability, and resilience.
Desired Profile
  • Strong hands-on and leadership experience with modern data platforms and cloud ecosystems (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience in technology leadership roles (typically 8+ years), with at least 4+ years in people management.
  • Expertise in building and managing large-scale data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses.
  • Experience working with regulated data environments and supporting audit and reporting requirements
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, lineage, and control frameworks.
  • Knowledge of modern architectures, APIs, Agile/DevOps practices, and emerging technologies such as AI/ML.
